I don’t usually waste time with what the talking heads on Fox News have to say, but this is really something.
A discussion, which is not the right word at all but never mind, about the pepper spraying incident at UC Davis between that dipstick O’Reilly and one Megyn Kelly, who is some kind of regular on Fox I’m told. O’Reilly reckons we should not be “second guessing” the cops “particularly at a place like UC Davis, which is a fairly liberal campus.”
Not to be outdone, Kelly the Twat comes up with the notion that pepper spray is not harmful because “it’s like a derivative of actual pepper. It’s a food product, essentially.”
They’re almost ready to graduate from the Goebbels School of Journalism. I can see the headlines now;
“Heroic UC Davis Officers dispense nutritional supplements to rowdy, ungrateful, dirty students.”
To be fair, they got the idea from Jean Chretien, former PM of Canada, who said “As for pepper, I put that on my plate.”, after an incident at an APEC meeting a few years ago.
A pregnant woman in the Seattle OWS was assaulted by police and had a miscarriage.
Great one gunny. Maybe Fox News can get some of the profs from the Nutrition Dept at UC Davis to go on TV and explain all the benefits of Pike’s Nutritional Supplements. Well maybe not!

My suggestion is to ask these people, who are telling us that pepper spray is no big deal, to volunteer for a thorough pepper spray experience, after which interviewing these people promptly is of the essence. In this way these sporty volunteers can share with the whole world their reaction to the no-big-deal pepper spray experience.
A reasonable suggestion, don’t you find?
Police officers were treated to tasering in the beginning, so they would have an idea what it was like. But they had first aid ready to hand, not a round of boots and clubs.
