— Jon Stewart..
"God is playing a comic to an audience that's afraid to laugh."
“Those who can make you believe absurdities, can make you commit atrocities.”
— Voltaire..
"What happens when we're dead? The irony is that all our questions will be answered after we die. We spend our whole life trying to figure out the truth and the only way we'll find out what it is, is to get hit by a bus. And the only comfort that religion offers is that God is driving that bus."
— John Ryman, "When Galaxies Collide"..
“Knock, And He'll open the door
Vanish, And He'll make you shine like the sun

Is that a real sign???
yes, I think so.
If you look up the website in the corner of the image (Engrish something or other) there’s bunches of similar ones on products of all kinds.
Good grief, then. My motto is “Everyone needs an editor” but the real shame is that few acknowledge the truth of that.
To the editorially anal, that sign is almost as disturbing as the greengrocer’s apostrophe.
At least it’s funny, though. Whereas there is no bright side to the misplaced apostrophe.
I’m sure what you mean is; “there are no bright side’s to the misplaced apostrophe.”
Aaaarrrrggghhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!!!
I think we need to know if that sign was offering a service or items loose in the bin. If the latter… I’m sorry but it’s just WAY more disturbing than a misplaced apostrophe.
(Even as a service, given the server, it’s still pretty off-putting.)
Speaking as a guy….
Over here they call them chocolate willies. Honest!
Bluthner, you speak as a guy; I speak as an editor. However, I agree that the latter would be quite disturbing. It must be the former, though, or it would be “penises.”
Or should that be “”p*nises”?
OMG! I made a typo! That’s really way disturbing.
WRT the sign . . . . yes, disturbing, and evokes the reality that Bachman really is hot.
And crazy, which only adds to her hotiness. (Yes, that is a word, for “the condition of being a hottie”.) Hot in a way that the Mean Shrill Quitta can never manage, in a million years.
Reality is, this race is now the Rom-bot’s to lose. Perhaps it was always thus.
I almost feel sorry for my Republican friends, forced to support an android instead of a real human. Surprising, really, that the CES show last week here in Vegas did not include a “Rom-bot” manufacturer’s exhibit.
They will, after all, roll out the Compassionate Upgrade very soon now.
This thread reminds me of the punch line to an old Carry On film gag.
“No nurse. I said prick his boil.”
[chokes on tea]
Do you really want to continue being treated like a bane on society? Are you sick of having to step outside to enjoy a cigarette? Are you tired of always being reminded of your smoking habit? Are you fed up with all the restrictions?
Thanks again!
“Do you really want to continue being treated like a bane on society?”
I get off on it, actually.
“Are you sick of having to step outside to enjoy a cigarette?”
No. The clue might be in the word “enjoy”.
“Are you tired of always being reminded of your smoking habit?”
Eh? Reminded by whom? I don’t need a reminder.
“Are you fed up with all the restrictions?”
Yes, i am tired of a nation chock full of nagging grannies.
“Thanks again!”
And thank you for playing! Next!
Kevin, you think she’s hot?
Porny:
hell yes, in a sick sort of way, one that the Quitta can never manage, nor that mean nasty one, Coulter.
Mean is not a turn-on, but crazy can do the job. And Michelle is legitimately off the rocker.
You have creeped me out, Kev. She’s a total zombie. Even the quitta might maybe manage to feel something during the act.
Porny:
I did write “in a sick sort of way”, please note.
Kev,
you reminded me of the lyric from ‘Suzanne’
What has drawn everyone back to this? Was it the no-smoking spam that somehow insinuated itself?
Oh. So that wasn’t you?
