pammy melts down

And about time too. For those of you fortunate enough not to have come across Pamela Geller, she’s the honcho (honcha?) at the blog “Atlas Shrugs” to which I will not link and which is about what you’d expect it to be, only crazier. She’s also the doyenne of the “creeping Sharia” bug-eyed brigade. Oh, and a birther, natch.

Anyway, the ever vigilant Charles Johnson over at Little Green Footballs has been on the case since forever, documenting the sheer lunacy and hatred that oozes constantly from Geller’s site (along with a few other hard-right wingnut bunkers, some of which we’ve featured here from time to time).

Anyway, it looks like Geller’s finally melted down in a big way. Earlier this morning the following rant appeared under PG’s byline. As for an explanation of what the hell happened here, well, more on that below;

Associated (with terrorists) Press Sues NY police department over successful counter terror policy

Decades ago we cringed when any news story of corruption and collusion broke about our long venerated  trusted newsmen We trusted those powerful subversive like Walter Cronkite, Dan Wallace, etc, These men with enormous power weilded it, abused it, and disseminated one of th =e world’s great campaigns of anti0merican disiinformation and propaganda. We remember Walter Chronkite, as a grandfather figure trusted iconclast when in fact he wa a red and did the country incalculable harm.

Twenty years of the Chroncrite legacy and we ahve gonthat much further of the deep end. Media ia a propactvisit arm whose one goal – shape the news, change the ness, even live about the news to advance a collectivist, pro-sharia agandena. How else culd an unqualfied, bitter Ameria hater hold the eat in the Obama office.

They are out of control And it is only a matter of time before the Davids in the blogosphere rip their masks of civility off and unmosks the who the monsters  are. And for the their flagrant violation of the public trust, they shall rot in prison.

The mardcore Hama scruops in thr US HAMAS CAIR, MSU,MSA, ICNA are doing thr Htiler stompin jig to get these conter terrorim messures removed so that devout Muslims can roam freeem to plan the next 911.

And he AP, in a crushing violnation of ‘jounalistic integrity, has filed suit aganst agaianst law enforcement to disarm the numner one greatest counter terrorism usint in the world.  The DoJ is finished.Corrupt. Destroyed. House to vote on contempt charge against Eric Holder‎. Tehy refuse to uphold rule of law. It’s red and green madness, collectivists and Islamic supremaicts have the run of the place. Where is our society’s first  most critical line of defense? The DoJ is AWOL The Department of Justice is engaging in collusion with the country’s most dangerous and subversive jihadist groups.

It keeps going on like that for some good while longer, and that transcript is from a screen grab right after the post went up. It’s since been edited by someone with marginal spelling talents, but the original is cached here. I love the “Associated (with terrorists) Press” trick, that’s just priceless.

Wonkette jumped on it, as have many places on the twitterpated section of the intertoobs, and wonders if she’s;

* Having a stroke
* Having a seizure
* Drunker than Ginny Thomas calling up Anita Hill for a heart-to-heart
* Just that fucking stupid

Since I’m soaking the air filter on the chainsaw to clean out the gunk, I had a few minutes to spare to have some mindless fun, and just look what happened. That’s enough of that crap for a while, though. We still have at least a shred of dignity around here.

    She looks like the offspring of a zombie and a vampire.

    As for her writing skills, well. Words fail me.

    Gunny, Madame,

    I’m not hearing any respect here. OK, she may have had a bad morning and her typing may have slipped a little; could happen to anybody, especially anybody who had a rough enough night before to look like that picture the next day. But this is the woman who, virtually single-handedly, turned an obscure local project to set up a mosque in Manhattan into an outrage against decency that way over half the politicians in the whole damn country felt compelled to denounce, if only in the most temperate of terms. That’s a lifetime achievement for most people and I won’t have you mocking it. Just because it turned into a hard act to follow is no reason to denigrate her for persevering. She has a track record, after all, and she may again find the words to drag Boehner and Reid along in her wake.

    I dunno Natasha, I thought “doyenne of the creeping Sharia bug-eyed brigade” embraced her achievements rather nicely.

    I put a whole 4 or 5 seconds of thought into that, and I’m not hearing any respect here.

    Actually, you’re right—this loony piece of work polarized the political process and dominated the news cycles for a long time. To this day there are periodic reports of State legislatures pushing for a “no sharia law” rider on some bill or another.

    Often the same legislatures pushing for re-naming sea-level rise so as to keep their feet dry. Nevertheless, credit should be given where credit’s due.

    Gunny,

    OK, you’ve acknowledged her well-earned doyenne status. I should have acknowledged that and I apologize for not doing it. Due praise withheld is the most subtle of calumnies.

    But you have to admit that you’ve slighted her achievements. Since you won’t and I can’t seem to summon the words to praise them myself, I’ll let her do the talking — July 4, 2008:

    “Check me out …… I am an official blogger for the Republican National Convention. Notfied me on July 4th, how hot is that? Press creds and everythang. Oh yeah. Oh yeah. I am all that and a bag of chips. Moonbats watch out!
    Hooha.

    Just you watch. The world will finally wake up and see the Cronkite conspiracy for what it was any day now.

    Gotta say, I LOVED “The Cronkite Conspiracy” when it first came out – much better plotting than Ludlum’s early works, and very well-paced throughout.

    How anyone can type that badly in an aaage oof speelcheckers astunishes me. But she did spell “Htiler” correctly, so props for that, I guess.

    Get outta here, Sib. Ludlum was a genius (ok, so his plots were not actually believable). Now it is my turn to be outraged about lack of respect

    Yeah, who cares about spelling? I’ve been a phenomenal speller since I was about 4 and look where it’s got me. That picture, on the other hand, is distressing. Whatever happened to the Pamela we all knew and loved? The one who looked like she’d come straight from an episode of “The Real Housewives of New Jersey”? I miss that Pamela. A lot.

    Meh. So she accidentally published a quick draft with lots of bad typing. It’s telling Lefties are making such a big deal over such trivia.

    Apologies, Elena – I expressed myself poorly. I just think Ludlum (who I really like) did a better job with ‘The Cronkite Conspiracy’ than with some of his earlier works (“The Huntley-Brinkley Farrago” springs to mind as having quite a rushed resolution)…

    I hope they make a film.

  13. NatashaFatale says:

    Sib,

    Agree that The Huntley-Brinkley Farrago failed to fulfill the early promise of The Morrow Conundrum, but it’s often this way with writers. Ludlum’s technical skills advanced with every book, until he reached the sublime perfection of his later prose. But by then he’d used up the fertile ideas that came so easily to him in his youth. After all, Morrow gave China to Mao and eastern Europe to Uncle Joe! What did Cronkite and H-B do in comparison? Little more that start a few riots, lose a war in Asia and bring down a couple of presidents… But by the time Ludlum had joined Dickens and Tolstoy in the Pantheon of Novelistic Perfection, he had nothing but those slim pickings left for his raw materials. Seen in that light, the H-BF is one of the great tragedies of postwar art, and casually dismissing it with that kind of “it just wasn’t his best work” brings nothing new to our artistic discourse.

    Walter Cronkite! That moustache! Of course! The way he announced the body count every evening at six, obviously gleeful that his fellow travelers had killed another two hundred, three hundred of Our Boys. “And that’s the way it was….”

    The scales fall from my eyes: Walter Fellow Traveller Cronkite.

    that woman couldn’t give you a working definition of sharia law if her next botox fix depended on it. A rough draft indeed.

    I used to read Ludlam, but have forgotton them for the most part. Along with all of the other cold war spy writers. Once i read LeCarre all of the others were just farts in the wind. Except for maybe Martin Cruz Smith.
