Sarah Palin launched a blistering attack on President Obama and her own Republican party leaders on Saturday with an impassioned pitch to re-establish herself as a leading light of America’s conservative movement.

It was not all fireworks. Palin also showed her humorous touch when she cracked a joke about her sex appeal as she talked about swapping Christmas presents of a rifle and a gun racks with her husband. “He’s got the rifle, I got the rack,” she said, to whoops from the crowd.
But she’ll have to hurry. Her face is beginning to sag. :)

I think it was Liz Taylor who said something about having to choose, at a “certain age”, between her face and her ass.
I have no idea why that has stuck in my mind all these years, and just now popped to the surface once again. Depressing.
It seems the Guardian, along with most sites, remains keenly aware that She-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named can still generate a bazillion page hits.
Good thing we’re above such sleazy tactics around here, eh?

She’s been so quiet. Then suddenly two articles in the Graun in less than a week. And then I spot her suddenly sagging face in the far from flattering photo that goes along with the article [spiteful or what ?] so I’m guessing she’s looked in the mirror and thought, ‘it’s now or never.’
And I thought, everything is so bloody dire over here, you might as well suffer as well.
