Robert Scheer in The Nation reports that Citigroup last week agreed to pay a $285 million fine to settle charges of “misleading investors”.  Chairman of Citi at the time was none other than Robert Rubin.  Formerly of Goldman Sachs, before he became Uncle Bill’s treasury secretary  and pushed the repeal of the Glass-Steagall Act through congress.
